I know you can't believe it, but it actually happened. Erick turned the big 4-0. I suck at surprises but somehow I managed to pull one off for Erick and he swears he really had no clue. His evening started out with dinner with some friends and then we headed to a pool hall where I had reserved a section with pool tables, ping pong and air hockey. When we walked in the door Erick had no idea it was surprise and that his friends were waiting for him in one of the rooms. We got a little crazy, but had a great time ringing in the new decade with Erick. Here's the birthday boy at dinner.
